I know you all don't want to hear the boring "how we met" story but every story has a special meaning. I was never looking for love when Jose came into my life. But when I chose to make the decision to express to him that I was interested in him one day at work, it forever changed my life! We met at Publix in 2019. We started dating in 2020. The reason I fell in love with him was the fact that he saw me for me! Since I wasn't always accepted, I never thought that I was worthy of the type of love that he continued to show me! But for some reason, this man chose to stick around and to remind me every single day why God placed him in my life! I’ve realized that there is a role for everyone you meet. Some will test you, some will use you, some will love you and some will teach you. And the ones that are important are the ones who bring out the best in you. They are the rare and amazing people who remind you why it's worth it. And why you're worth it! Not only did Jose change my life, but he expressed that I changed his for the better as well. He states he truly never knew what love was until he met me! His life was far from perfect. He had his ups and downs, but together our crazy lives have made us grow more in love with each other!

And if I always continue to give Jose food, and if he continues to always take me to Starbucks, we will love each other forever!
